Stories are important. Each of our stories is unique and helps us to better understand each other. Using the online platform TheirStory, we are creating a digital anthology of Bergen Community College stories that include stories of students, faculty, staff, and Bergen County residents. By participating in the More Than One Story testimonial project, you’re adding your own voice, your own unique story, to the hundreds already collected. 

In addition to becoming part of a permanent digital history archive, selections from these testimonials will be incorporated into a verbatim theater project centered on local stories of migration/immigration. The purpose of verbatim theatre, a form of documentary work based on the spoken words of real people, is to create a platform for the silent or marginalized in society and to provide an audience who are prepared to listen.
